Longford Jazz Festival
The festival was established by Longford residents Don and Sue Ives. Its 13th edition took place from 2–4 October 2026, with performances across Longford, local and interstate musicians, and opportunities for audiences of all ages.
The advertised 2026 lineup included the Matt Ives Big Band, The Chromosomes, The Algorhythms and the Deloraine Big Band. A Young Players workshop offered 12–18-year-olds tuition in improvisation and jazz performance.
2027 festival dates: Not yet confirmed. See the club’s Facebook page for announcements.
Venues
Longford Town Hall, 67 Wellington Street, was one of the 2026 venues. The festival has used several locations around the town; check the individual program before travelling.
